Mon. 7—Fr. Stahl's canary died.
Tues. 8—Vacation over. Everyone late on
account of storm.
Wed. 9—Snow shovelling gang put to work.
Thurs. 10—Infirmary full.
Sat. 12—Many Daydodgers stayed home on
account of the cold.
Sun. 13—The rules were read in the chapel
this morning with much vigor. Go, and sin
no more.
Mon. 14—Malone complains that his feet
were cold in bed last
night.
Tues. 15—A bunch of prospective knights got their
first degree last night.
Wed. 16—We would have a
wonderful Glee Club if
the third element was
only a little stronger. A
little dance in the Band
Room tonight; Flanagan
wins the "Vamping Contest."
Thurs. 17—Rehearsal Superb for "The Lion and
the Mouse." Things were
going fine until the M. of
D. came down and put
the quietus on it.
Fri. 18—All is well. Beans
for dinner as usual.
Sat. 19—Collins was seen coming out of
the Columbia—don't breath it to a soul.
Sun. 20—Third degree "administered" to
eleven candidates of the K. of C.
Tues. 22—Getting ready for the semi-final
exams.
Wed. 23—A two-hour session in Scripture
History class this morning. Griff declares that he knows all about it.
Thurs. 24—Griff read his paper on hypnotism during Psychology lecture period
this morning; it was the real thing—we
were all asleep when he finished.
