Description
Landscape architecture Professor Philip H. Elwood, along with three Iowa State College students, made a trip of U.S. western national parks in the summer of 1927. This video contains clips from the California portions of that trip. Includes footage of Sequoia National Park, Moro Rock, gardens of Edward L. Doheny in Beverly Hill, Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, Spanish Mission style of architecture in Balboa Park, and San Diego Exposition ground.
