Prof. W. H. Meeker,
I.S.C. Ames, Iowa
My dear Prof. Meeker:--
How happy I am to note through The Alumnus that such a signal honor has come to you.
I most heartily congratulate the Engineering faculty in honoring themselves in this way.
I have such delightful and greatful memories of the service you rendered me as a struggling, rather backward and unpromising student. What little I have been able to accomplish has in no small measure been due to your patience and tireless energies.
Most sincerely yours,
G. W. Carver.
