Prof. Geo. W. Carver,

Dear Prof. Carver:
Thank you very much for your most interesting letter which I will fine with the College History Committee. I happen to be chairman of this committee. I would like very much to have an interview with you for this committee. Will you, therefore, be kind enough to send to me at your leisure answers to the following questions?
1. Where were you born and when?
2. Where did you get your education, public schools and college?
3. When did you come to Ames?
4. While a student what did you do?
5. After graduation what did you do?
6. What has engaged your attention since graduation?
7. Give me your impressions about I.S.C. and your work at Ames.
8. Tell me something about each of the following men (and others you can think of)? Beardshear, Wilson, Budd, Stanton, Osborn, Miss Roberts, S.W. Beyer, Marston, Curtiss, D.A. Kent and H. Knapp. If there are others you can remember jot them down.
Please make answers to follow questions. I thank you for your kindness. The paper came this morning, thanks.
Yours truly,
