My dear Dr. Pammel:
I thank you very much for the information contained in your recent letter. I shall write both Dr. Smith and Prof. Saccardo.
I am now compiling a permanent list of the fungi of Macon County, Alabama. I am accompanying a few of the most destructive diseases with notes. This list is very interesting from the fact that some groups are so very large and others so small. In connection with this list if you have any suggestions I shall be very grateful for them.
