Fennelly personally kept the Bees in the game until the last period, with his 27 points. Dumped into
the consolation round of the tournament the Bees were soundly trounced by North Dakota U., 88-71. Bill
Augustin, "Kotas" star, hit for 40 points. Kevin Fennelly again led Bee scorers with 27 points and was
placed on the All-tournament team.
The Bees returned from the holidays and dropped a heartbreaker to St. Norbert's, 81-77. Big Dick
Brennan left the game with nine minutes to go but not before he had set a new individual single game
rebound record of 35. He also hit the nets for 21 points.
A strong Lewis College team played host to our Bees in the next engagement at Lockport. The Flyers
came out on the long end of a 99-74 score in this one. This was the first time in ten games that Lewis
managed a victory over us.
