Description
The Bees, playing what we consider one of the toughest of small college schedules, completed the
1955-56 season with a 3-16 record.
Lacking height and consistent scoring punch the Bees were no match for their opponents in the majority
of games. But we can credit our cagers with the fine spirit and sportsmanship they displayed both at
home and on foreign courts.
The Bees opened against Parsons and were beaten 82-77. Tom Gulan led our scorers with 16 points.
The next home encounter was Iowa Wesleyan. The Bees displayed their scoring potential and went
on to trounce a veteran Tiger five, 97-80. Dick Brennan with 21 points and Fennelly with 18 led the
Bee scoring attack.
"Pardon my reach," says Fred Boher as he goes high to steal the ball from
Dick Brennan and two Great Lakes players.
