eleven, the Bees began to prove that
they were capable of real football
power . . . driving for two quick tallies on recovered fumbles. Gene Walton and Dick Allison led the Ambrose
attack with two touchdowns apiece . ..
Don Allison and Dick Wood accounted
for the fifth.
St. Ambrose picked up 303 yards
rushing, completed 10 of 21 passes
. . . good for 130 yards ... all piling
up 19 first downs. Defense was again
the deciding factor . . . the Bees were
never pushed and recovered 9 of 11
fumbles.
Loras tacklers find Doc Nestor (12) hard to catch
