BERNIE BRENNAN
The home court proved more conducive to the Ambrose cage delegation as they bounced back from
three consecutive setbacks and completely outplayed Illinois Tech 93-80, breaking the season-starting
losing streak. Quincy College provided the next court opposition for the Bees, as they invaded Wharton
Fieldhouse. The Ambrosians again tasted defeat, 86-70. St. Ambrose was again paced by its one-two
scoring punch, Bernie Brennan and Tom Otting. Led by three or four former Quad-City ball players,
Iowa Wesleyan showed their vast improvement, defeating the Bees 97-77.
