The Duaxmen fell apart in the last period against highly-regarded DePaul U., after keeping within four points of the Demons
throughout the contest. Seekamp hit 18 and Fay one less in the 84-62 loss before a teriffic crowd of Ambrose supporters. Wheaton
then proceeded to outshoot the weary Bees the following night, 87-82, despite Czarnecki's 20 markers. The Davenporters seemed to
be in a rut, losing their third straight road game, 98-82, to St. Norbert's. Seekamp countered 27 in the scoring duel.
Returning home, the locals easily dropped Central's Dutchmen to the bounce of 58-37. The road jinx, however, kept the Ambrosians
down as Simpson's Redmen scalped the Saints, 71-67. Seekamp and Fay canned 19 apiece. Parsons' Wildcats bested the Bees 76-74
on a last second basket. Fay popped in 20 and Czarnecki 19 for the losers.
The Bees then entertained Dubuque by blasting them, 84-61. Czarnecki headed the welcoming committee, notching 22 markers.
St. Norbert's Knights were the victims in a revenge battle, 79-59. Seekamp meshed 28 for the avengers. The following night, Iowa
State Teachers out-shot the weary Ambrose and upset them, 73-57, for the March of Dimes Fund.
