Louis G. Friedrichs has been appointed
football coach at St. Ambrose, following
upon the resignation of Frank Brogger
who served here for four years. Mr.
Friedrichs brings an outstanding record,
both athletically and otherwise, to the
Ambrose scene. His teams have known a
remarkable degree of success, and in 1954
he was named National Catholic High
School Coach of the Year. He has held
important high school coaching positions
in Milwaukee, St. Louis, New Orleans
and Omaha.
