Ambrose victory special was sidetracked, 93-71, in Dubuque. Jim Fay ripped the nets for 27 markers. Iowa
Wesleyan's last minute rally fell short, 78-76, and the Bee
winning streak was started, as Cannady and Fay were
scoring 27 and 21 points.
Seekamp hit for 33, Cannady added 25 and Willie tossed
in 15 as Penn succumbed, 101-71. Central was the victim
of an Ambrose revenge plan, 69-54, Cannady was the instigator of the plot with 23 points. This win gave the
Bees the lead in the Southern Division, which they never
relinquished.
A Conference record for most points scored by two
teammates was tied when Seekamp hit 32 and Cannady 30
in a rousing 101-81 plastering of Simpson. Fay and Malatestinic also found the range, capturing 13 points apiece.
Wharton Field House was the scene of a 94-72 pasting
of St. Joe. Each of the starting five scored over ten points,
