It is one of the main objectives of the "News"
to attempt to maintain on campus a strong sense
of school spirit.
The staff makes positive efforts toward improving relations among student groups, student faculty, and inter-school relationships.
The "News" puts all events into a preview story
and then reports afterward on each event. The

photographers duty is to cover as many affairs as
he possibly can, obtaining pictures of them, either
for the paper or for future use in the annual.
The traditional "limelight" theory holds true
with the "Ambrosian News." The staff makes no
distinction in its coverage of any organization or
their activities.
All personal opinion is confined to editorials
and feature stories. The editorials, this past year,
have dealt with campus situations, local, national,
and international affairs. The editorials are distributed rather equally, giving preference at all
times to religious topics.
The "Ambrosian News" is distributed freely to
the students by the college administration.
There are approximately thirty issues during the
school year.
The staff of the "News" usually numbers from
twenty to thirty members, with ten others serving
merely as sources of leads and "unofficial" campus
news items.
The newspaper holds membership in the Associated Collegiate Press, and uses its news releases.
