Prospective journalists and other interested students have been able to gain valuable experience
by joining the staff of the "Ambrosian News."
This is a weekly paper edited and published by
the students under the supervision of a faculty
advisor.
For the school year 1952-1953, Father Lawrence
Mork has been the advisor. The Editor, Sports
Editor, Business Manager, and Circulation Manager, were, Lou Colonnese, Art Szczerbowski, Matty
Lampson, and Jack Harmon, respectively.
Besides reporting news of the campus concerning students and faculty members, the "News" also
strives to serve as an outlet for the abilities of
those who would contemplate journalism as a
career, or for those who merely desire to express
their ideas.
This past year, the staff of the "News" undertook several projects in order to create student interest. In chronological order, the "News" put in
headlines the following: Freshmen Orientation,
Pre-election Debates, Homecoming, Mock Election
Ballot, Student Body Chapel Fund.
