Hymns and Prayers for the Use of the Army and Navy
Title
Hymns and Prayers for the Use of the Army and Navy
Description
This collection of Hymns, Prayers, Readings from the Bible and Brief Services has been compiled for the use of
Chaplains and other leaders of the men of our Army and
Navy. The compilers have attempted to provide hymns familiar to all, readings from the Bible which bring the
message most needed in the life of soldiers and sailors, and prayers which utter the aspirations of all sorts and conditions of men. They hope that the book will be useful not only for public services but also as a pocket companion and a reminder of the Presence and the Love of God to the men who are responding to the call of their country.
