Description
This picture is the first outdoor picture ever made in Fairfield. This view is from the NW corner of the square where Gaumer's Drug Store was located, looking toward the Leggett House, the large shadowy building with all the chimneys in the center of the picture. You can see the wooden rail fence around Central Park and the trees. This picture must have ben taken in late fall. Notice the wooden sidewalks.
