Letter from Carver to Pammel, April 18, 1902
Description
Apr. 18, 1902
Dr. L. H. Pammel,
Botanical Department, I.S.C.
Ames, Iowa.
My Dear Doctor Pammel:
I have your most valued favor of April 12th and beg to thank you most heartily for your very kindly words with reference to Leaflets on nature study. So far they seem to be meeting the needs in a rather satisfactory way. Many are using them and say they are of value in the work. I also thank you for your congratulations on the discovery of oxydes, paints, etc. The gentlemen will be here in a few days I presumeaccording to promiseto look the matter over with a view to perfecting the organization for the manufacture of the material.
I am glad to know that you are quite well and that Mrs. Pammel and the children are well. When do you think of coming South? I should like so much to have you here. I beg to remain,
Yours most sincerely,
Geo. W. Carver
