Dear Prof. Carver:
This will introduce to you Mr. Lin, one of my Chinese students who is going back to China to teach Agricultural subjects. He is particularly interested in matters pertaining to Horticulture and the growing of cotton. I am sure that with your wide experience, you can give him considerable information that will be of value to him in China. I will esteem it a great favor if you will do what you can for Mr. Lin.
