My dear Prof. Pammel:
I wish to say that I have received copy of The Weed Flora of Iowa, No. 4. I am really amazed to note what a splendid work it is. I have been reading about it for some time, but had no idea that it is such a splendid contribution to this most important subject. If possible it makes me feel prouder than ever to know that I received my training under such an accomplished authority.
