The sacredness of human life. Nobody seems to worry much about killing 4,000 by automobile every year-- nor do we try to save the lives of our trans-oceanic flyers by putting them in an asylum--- we don't even try to prevent loss of life among our dare devil stunt performers-- but what a hullabaloo we do kick up over the life of a self-confessed menace to society.
