background left. The two sheds were built in between where Schaeffer Hall and MacLean Hall are today. These sheds were built for temporary purposes to replace South Hall and the Medical Buildings which burned in 1901. *Shows up on maps as the Mining Engineering Laboratory; according to Irving Weber in I.C. Press Citizen, May 1, 1982 it was used as a temporary building for medicine. Also on backs of some photos the building is called the Medical Shed or Sheep Shed
