This stationary cooker installed in the Chemical Engineering Building was used to digest cornstalks for board production. The inscription on the cooker reads ""Max pressure 50 lb. per sq. in, 1-2-37."" Machine is part of project 158.
This is the Smalley Force Feed Ensilage and Fodder Cutter. Patent dates of Jan. 26, 1904, Aug. 9, 1910, and Nov. 12, 1912 are engraved on the top of the machine. Machine is part of project 158.
