Description
OUR "ROW."
Several citizens visited friends in
the Latin Study Hall lately and
stayed a few weeks and then went
back tired but happy.
The sewing circle held its meeting
in "Mrs." Roling's home last evening.
WANTED.
Will some brother kindly furnish
us with the music of the good song,
entitled, "We Love Our Prefect."
(Signed) LATIN HALL.
ZENO'S SLAMS.
Frazier (after Chemistry class):
"Say, do you know the chicken Prof,
was talking of today?"
Rump: "No! What chicken?"
Frazier: "Why, Mollie Cule."
YOU'RE RIGHT.
Dick: Dan, what is an optimist?
Dan: A man that can face Monday's dinner cheerfully.
Cash: "Van Waus, are you German?"
Van: "No."
Cash: "Dutch?"
Van: "No."
Cash: "Well, where did you get
that name?"
Van: "From my Vater."
Hank: "What is the difference between labor and capital?"
Hook: "If I lent you a quarter, it
would be capital; and if I tried to get
it back, it would be lanor."
Fitz: Do you know "Hook"?
Jew: Which Hook do you mean?
-Fitz: The one I run around with.
Hook and I are good friends.
Fitz: I understand that the young
man rooming with you is a finished
cornetist.
Bill: Oh, is he? I was just screwing up enough courage to finish him
myself. Who did it?
G. M.: I love every sound of the
forest.
D. K.: Does that include every
bark of the dogwood?
M. D. (to student): Do you admit
you were late from town and did not
report to me?
S.: No.
M. D.: Do you admit that you
were smoking cigarettes in town?
S.: No.
M. D.: Two negatives make an
affirmative; I will call a faculty meeting.
Father Mc, in Trig (trying to corner B. Schmdit): How many sides
has a circle?
Bill: Two!
Father Mc. (smiling): What are
they?
Bill: The inside and the outside!
Schmidt: Father, I fogot my compass.
Fr. Mac: Use a dollar; it will do
as well.
Schmidt: I haven't one with me.
Lend me one; will you, please?
Fr. Mac: Just a minute and I'll
find you one.
Russell: Why does Kerrigan always close his eyes when he sings?
Zeno: Well, you know he is so
tender-hearted that he can not bear
to see anyone suffer.
J. P. S.: "Why did you hang that
cartoon?"
Fr. B.: Because we could not
catch the artist."
Kerrigan: "They say that wise
men are always bald."
Birkenbuel: "I guess that's why
I'm bawled so often."
Hist. Prof.: In what battle was
Lord Nelson killed?
Millet: I think it was the last one
in which he took part.
Murphy: "Can a man live without brains?"
Roling: "Yes, Luigi seems to get
along all right."
