Description
DORM COUNCIL
Front Row: Rosemary Cofield, Mary Gilroy, Jeff
Nelson, Dan Galvin, Joe Pasquesi — chairman,
Mark Spring, Colleen Mahoney — secretary, Julie Baldwin, Janet Bishop, John Kubat. Back Row:
Fred Serpe, Larry Rippey, Norman Boccio, Margaret Conrad, Russ Murphy, J.P. Morin, Doug
Forbes, Shelley Marme', Phyllis Tegeler, Terry
Tilka, Joy Leaka.
As Longballer, Joe Pasquesi, sits on his thrown as the
Chairman of Dorm Council many on-campus students
wonder just what the _____ is going on.
And what the _____ is Dorm Council? This question was raised to the
notorious Secretary, Colleen Mahoney, as she was
jamming her toes. In essence, Dorm Council is "to
meet the needs of the kids in the dorms." It is also the
mediator between the students and the administration.
Among the many improvements in the dorms, there
has been vending machines added for the munches
and zackalees, ideas for better security (to keep the
wierdos out), and student lounges. Also the R.A.'s
"apartments" have been moved to opposite ends of
the hall to get a better picture of what is happening on
their floor. So as everyone can see Dorm Council is
essential to all students, normal and strange.
