Title

1917 Yearbook

Description

vancement of baseball success at St. Ambrose. The baseball material of
1917 is at present only in its development; but with Sheehan, Ryan, Mc-
Lain, Smith and Coonan, back in suits, and such new stars as Devlin, Griffith, Quigley, Wallace, Simons, Fitzgerald, Mack, and Shaeffer, out for
berths on the nine, a long string of victories is expected. Their nightly
workouts, together with the military drills given by Mr. M. V. Gannon, Jr.,
keeps them in perfect winning condition.
