For the second time in the 1956-57 season, the Iowa Wesleyan quintet proved just too strong for the
Bees as they rolled to an 84-71 victory. Traveling 800 miles into Wisconsin, the Bees met the highly
touted Eau Claire State five. Both teams displayed fine ball handling and accurate shooting ability, but
again the Ambrosian delegation couldn't close the gap and fell, 65-62. Traveling to St. Paul, the Bees
met a strong and capable St. Thomas quintet. The Tommies had just too many guns for the game Bees,
and left the floor, victorious with an 83-71 score.
