ST. AMBROSE —LORAS SPLIT
In a game that surprised even the most optimistic Loras fans, the Duhawks upset
the powerful Bee eleven 6-0 at Dubuque, scoring the winning marker seconds
before the half ended. The next week, however, the Bees annihilated the Duhawks
44-0 to cop their second straight Iowa Conference Championship. Bob Flanagan
sparked the Bees with four touchdowns, other scores were by Tommie Greenan,
Rich McKillip and Dick Les.
Dick Kelnhofer blocks another kick.
