(Homecoming)
Before 5100 fans the Bees climaxed a hectic week of Homecoming festivities by
whipping the St. Joe Pumas at Muny Stadium. Art Nixon led the scoring parade
with three touchdowns in runs of 2, 15, and 20 yards. Larry Kellner gobbled up a
blocked punt by Dick Kelnhofer and raced 44'yards for a score, then gathered in a
22 yard aerial from Lee Matera in the fourth period to close the scoring for the day.
