The National Federation of Catholic College Students is a federation of the
student bodies of almost 200 Catholic colleges and universities in the United States.
The NFCCS was founded by students in 1937 and has for its purposes to acquaint
Catholic college students with their responsibilitiy to the student community, to
contribute to the development of Catholic lay leadership, to promote American
Catholic student solidarity, to represent its members in the national and international
scene, to act as a center of information on student affairs, and to promote
democratically elected and operated student governments.
