'Agenda for Education Club Meeting"
1. Meeting called to order by the President, Batt Maher.
2. Moderator, Father McMahan, opened with a prayer.
3. Urban Becker, our secretary will give a report on
membership.
4. Joe Lakers, who represented St Ambrose at the
State meeting of Iowa Future Teachers Association
in Des Moines on Feb. 3 and 4 will give a report.
5. Confraternity of Christian Doctrine
a. It is the Lay Apostolate in action under the
guidance of the clergy.
b. It exists so that Catholics may learn more and
more'about (heir religion, thus teaching themselves as well as others the knowledge and love
of God.
c. Your Catholic education is the apprenticeship
for spreading the Catholic Faith.

1. You will have the opportunity as a TEACHER
to lead students to love God and their
neighbor.
2. As a PARENT-EDUCATOR you will enjoy
in your home your God-given privileges of
teaching your children.
d. NOW at St. Ambrose we are planning a class
that would show us the proper methods of how
one should go about teaching catechism. This
class would meet once every two weeks for one
hour. Father McMahan would conduct these
classes.
Ken Farrell, Vice President will show a film entitled, 'Ways of Teaching in Wisconsin'.
Pictures for the '55 Oaks will be taken.
Next meeting date will be April 14.
Meeting, ended with a prayer.
