Left to right: first row: Jack Winne, Dick Doan, Ed. Lauer, Urban Becker, Bob Hiciey, Tom Donahue. Second row: Don Dinges, Boh Kennedy,

This year the Central Illinois Club, better known simply as the C I. C, has a membership of 38 men, most
of whom reside in this area. However, by special petition those men who are not eligible because of the location of their homes and do not belong to the Chicago
Club or Quad-City Club may apply for membership.
The main purposes of the Clubs are to encourage
men from the central Illinois area to attend St. Ambrose
and to promote all campus activities.
Since the clubs organization in 1948, it has developed
two annual affairs — a dance during Christmas vacation
and a picnic during the summer. This year C. I. C.
sponsored a Halloween party at St. Vincent's Home,
supplying pumpkins, candy, prizes and fun for all the
children.
