Ottumwa Club
The Ottumwa Club, composed of students from the Ottumwa Deanery attending
St. Ambrose, during the past year has carried out a three point program. They have
attempted to bring new students to St. Ambrose by recruiting in the Deanery. This
was done by personal contact and panel discussions. They have made the people
aware of St. Ambrose by this project. During the Christmas holidays they sponsored
a local dance. A summer picnic for the group also helps to create a common interest.
On the campus they enter into the student life not only by assisting in the orientation program but also by forming intra-mural teams and sponsoring dances.
