Description

The Ambrosians
Bummer: He was driven to his grave.
Buzz: Sure he was. Did you expect him to walk?
Daddy Sullivan wrote to his friend, this: "My dear
friend, it is so dry in this school that we have fish here,
fish mind you, four years old, who have never learned to
swim!"
Skillybootch
Hess: I sure felt tickled today.
Casimir: Plow's that?
Hess: Mother just sent me my woolens.
Bright
Prof. Yancy: Mr. McDonough,
tell me all you know about the decomposition of force.
McDonough: It's all rot.
So It's Come to This
Infirmarian (to patient) : Well,
how are you feeling this morning?
T. Lew: Very much better, thank
you, doctor. The only thing that
troubles me is my breathing.
Infirmarian: Urn, yes, we must
see if we can't get something to stop
that.
That's the Way With You
H. Barry: Doctor, I'm feeling
worse.
Doctor: Did you follow my instructions? Did you take your medicine the first night and skip last
night?
H. Barry: Well, I took your medicine the first night but didn't have
much luck last night. The darn
rope would always get tangled up in
my legs.
