R. Emmet Crowley is a talented musician, we gotta admit. He
plays anything from a " Victor"
to a "Baby Grand" and does
very well. However on this occasion he either chose the wrong
piece or struck a discordant note.
Robert had just received another musical instrument which
was very different than any of
his other devices. I think they
called it a " Zillyfone". Well,
anyway, he was playing it one
day and there were more than
the usual number of fellows in
the room. Everything was going
along smoothly until one of the
professors entered. The artistic
soul of R. Emmet did not seem
to be a bit disturbed as he continued to send forth sweet (?) and
melodious(f) strains from his
"Zillyfone". After playing two
selections the program was suddenly cut short by the voice of
the professor, "Fold that thing

June 9.—The 9th of June,
1922, promises to be a red letter
day in the history of our school.
On that day two of the world's
foremost lecturers will address
our student body. "Abe" Mc-
Ginn and "Jew" Murphy are the
speakers. They will be intro-
duced by Isaac "Daddy" Sulli-
van.
Their talk will be in the nature
of an appeal for a greater mem-
bership in the Jewish Order of
the Knight of Columbus. No
admission will be charged as
these men are not after your
money. They are talking for
their health.
Let's all get behind this pair
and give them a boost. Let's
keep out of the window and let
the sun shine on their wares.
Let's not deprive them of the use
of their hands they are here to
talk. Don't forget th date.
THE WEATHER
From now on there will probably be many warm days for the
editors of this paper.

Now.—That elite portion of St.
Ambrose, the members of the
Frat House, awoke one morning
to find themselves confronted by
a 'mystery which first, last, and
always must be characterized by
the term "strong". It was everywhere, yet to those hunting
the source it was nowhere. It
was an oppressive, loud, odiferous
smell which pursued one up the
back stairs and down the front,
through the halls and, would you
believe it, even into the apartments of the most illustrious citizens.
Now maybe you remember way
back when you were chased by
the neighbor's dog out of the
melon patch; or, you might have
been chased by spooks in the old
trunk room upstairs; you might
even have been modern enough
to be pursued by a big bad bold
bandit with a gleaming six-shooter in his hands; but all of you are
novices, inexperienced, unsophisticated tenderfoots (or shall we
say feets) until, like ye editor,
you have been chased by a mysterious SMELL.
Many were the reasons put
forth for the presence of the
Mystery but all to no avail. Finally, like all mystiferous smells
