This Commission tries to stimulate interest in current best-sellers as well as
classics by student participation in discussion groups. Members are (front row)

LEGION OF MARY COMMISSION
The Legion of Mary tends to promote action within the college community directed towards furthering the
work of the lay apostolate through
dedication to the Blessed Virgin. In the
past, the Legion has also performed
many charitable works throughout the
city. Members are in front row Michael
Spiekermeier, Michael Brockman, Tim
Ponsonby, president, Ken Walanski,
Arthur Misener, treasurer, and second
row, Donald Toohill, James Hallaway,
Bill Hansen, Jim Herkel, secretary,
Lawson, vice-president.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
COMMISSION
The main purpose of this commission is to foster an awareness
among students of the various
aspects of life and the problems
encountered within the international community. A highlight of
the year is the model United Nations. Members are Derek Williams, Jim Schall, Dennis Hayes,
Mike Van de Kerckhove, and Ken
Wolf, chairman.
