Dick Ocar
Bruno Mikrut
Bruno Mikrut, linebacker and defensive captain, was one 6f the mainstays of
the squad. "Mickey" was a unanimous choice on the All-Midlands conference
defensive brigade. Winner of three letters.
Dick Ocar was the hard-luck boy on the 1952 squad. "Oaks" was considered
to be the best blocking back on the team and as a signal caller he had no peer.
Dick played all backfield positions in gaining his third major monogram.
Dick Les, President of the Monogram Club, was out most of the season with
a bum shoulder. However, Dick was used as a spot player and he caught his
share of the Ambrose aerial bombs. Another winner of three letter awards.
Ed Wollenberg was a stalwart of the offensive line and the "pepper-pot" of
the team. E. J., in gaining his third letter, played most every line position
except end.
