Quad-City Club
The Saint Ambrose Quad-City Club has in its second year on the Saint Ambrose campus continued to
fulfill the goal for which it was organized: to increase the interest in the college among students and
alumni of this area.
The Quad-City group with over 150 members continues to lead all other campus groups in membership. It is hoped that this club will eventually form the nucleus for a Quad-City Alumni Chapter.
The club's second annual Christmas Dance, held at the LeClaire Hotel, was considered one of the finest
social affairs of the year. The club also sponsored a number of smaller affairs.
For the second year the Quad-City Club continued its prize-winning ways in the annual homecoming
parade with a winning float based on the theme "Don't Boot Out Football."
The officers for this year's club were: Dave DeDoncker, President; Bob Durnin, Vice-President; Bernard Bush, Secretary-Treasurer; and Lou Dondanville, Inter-Club Representative. The faculty advisor
was Mr. Leslie Schaefer.
