Sun. 7—Flanagan prepared a vegetarian
east for Garrity in his room.
Tues. 8—Ordination at the Cathedral.
Everyone was present.
Wed. 9—Rex was initiated into the Royal
Order of the Horseshoe. He bought his
first plug at the corner store this afternoon.
Thurs. 10—Lecture in the Refectory, those
who wish to sleep over will arrange beforehand at the President's office.
Sat. 13—The Saints trimmed the Keeler
Club 14-0. A gentleman bearing the cognomen "Kearns" was added to the Philosophy class today. Said "Kearns"
planted a green flag, handsomely decorated with a harp and shamrock, over
his door.
Mon. 15—Notice of election of the Ambrosian staff posted.
Tues. 16—First roomer sent to the study
hall; the honor is all yours, Kelly Suep-
pel. Free on Fr. Barry's commission.
Wed. 17—Lockers in the South Corridor
burn. A certain professor was seen looking for the fire with a flashlight.
Fri. 19—Scandal in the house. Tony J.
went out after night prayers and did not
get back in time for breakfast. Et tu,
Tony?
Sat. 20—Some of the rude boys made it hot
for Mr. Kearns and he left for parts unknown.
Sun. 21—Fr. Barry left for Fort Russell,
Wyoming.
Thurs. 25—Lots of rain. Thus the bath
came to Tony.
Sat. 27—The Ambrosians captured St. Viator's goat, 48-14.
Mon. 29—Some blizzard.
Tues. 30—The season for writing poetry
about October's nut brown weather
closes today.
November
Thurs. 1—Free all day.
Sat. 3—We turned the trick on Dubuque,
17-0.
Sun. 4—Rohret enumerates the good
points about the Illinois Central.
Tues. 6—Football banquet at the Commercial Club.
Wed. 7—Kearns writes back for his pants.
Fri. 9—Christ Child Society gave an entertainment in the Auditorium tonight.
