'17. Peter Bissen of the Senior Collegiate Class, is at St. Francis Seminary, St. Francis, Wis. He writes that that ideal place, with its spacious
wooded grounds, is the best place on earth for a seminary.
'17. James Morrin is at his home at Williamsburg, Iowa.
'17. William Hughes, James Hannon, Joseph Wagner, Aloysius Rempe,
Peter Supan, Francis McGivern, Henry Overberg, John Collins and Kevin
Coughlin of the Academic Class have returned to follow the college work.
'17. John Gimbel, who entered the college in September, departed for
Kirkwood, Mo., in February, to continue his studies in the Redemptorist
College.
'17. James Butterfield and Francis Wolfe are preparing for the bar in
the State University at Iowa City.
'17. Clement Hogan is engaged in the work at the Government Arsenal,
Rock Island. He is in the Harness and Saddlery Department.
'17. Raymond McGrath left his studies in Junior College last May, to
enlist with the Colors, and is now with Battery "B", Camp Cody, Deming,
New Mexico.
'17. Windeline Miller entered Battery "B" from the Freshman College
class last spring. During a ten days' furlough in February, he spent a day
at his Alma Mater. He is with a contingent recently dispatched from Camp
Cody to France, and report of his arrival there has been received.
'17. James Morrow, a former College student, is taking pre-medic work
at the Minnesota University.
'17. Vincent Gannon and Edward Smith, both of whom entered the
Service from the student body, are at Camp Cody. Vincent is with the
Signal Corps and Edward is in the Field Artillery.
'17. With the spirit of LaFayette, Nicholas Andreas has entered his
third war. After fighting in the deadly Graeco-Balkan conflict he left the
