Everyone wants to be a part of it. We all want to belong. To help. To learn. To
feel. To be. Man needs to be accepted. Society has placed that need inside of him.
Yet today, much more is considered "acceptable". You can be yourself and be accepted. Individuality is of utmost importance. There are very few rigid rules to adhere to. The attitudes and ideas of 1978-79 are not conservative like the fifties,
nor liberal as in the late sixties and early seventies. We are somewhere in the middle.
Perhaps even a "happy medium". Things are not so clear cut. A person has many
avenues to choose from. There are not extremes. We can all interact with one another and fade into an obscure and peacefully beautiful shade of gray.
