Of all the organizations, clubs, and services on the campus, none is so universally important as the Ambrosian News. It is a part of
every student's life, just as books and athletics.
It has an identity and independence of its own,
seeking to serve its subscribers in all matters
except those which involve partiality.
The News is not only an instrument which
provides the student with news, gossip, features
and important announcements, which are of
course its main purposes, but it gives to its
large staff the opportunity which most of the
writers need — experience in newspaperwork.
Finally, and as important as any of the other
objectives it must fulfill, the News is the link
between the student and the college administration and between the student and the student's own government, the Student Council.
