Description
Vets Club
Vets Club President Gerry Martin directs the Mt. Suribachi re-creation as performed by five
of its members: Ted Bursom, Bob Robbins, Hugh Barnard, Mike Frazer and Joe McNeil.
The St. Ambrose College Vets Club is
comprised of students who have served
active duty with the armed forces. The
purpose of the club is to assist these students with both their academic and social
life on the college campus.
The club enriches the social atmosphere and, at the same time, profits
financially by sponsoring dances and
picnics. Last year the Vets donated
money to the St. Vincent's Christmas
fund and also purchased a traveling trophy for the College's debate team. The
members of the Vets Club wish to acknowledge the support given them by the
school and the students.
