Description
Young Republicans
The Saint Ambrose College Young
Republicans this year merged with the
recently formed Marycrest College Young
Republican Club. In addition to active
participation in state-wide and national
CYR programs, club members were deeply involved in the city-wide elections and
performed many services contributing to
the Republican victory, ranging from
soliciting contributions and passing out
campaign literature to working as "challengers" at the polls located on campus.
FIRST ROW: Cathy Bennett, Maggie Mueller, Mary Webster
Mary Beth Paonessa. SECOND ROW: Bob Agnes Jim Ahmann,
John Ginocchio, John Stark, Vince Motto and Joe
Close cooperation with the local party
organization provided the club with the
opportunity to send members to Des
Moines for Governor Reagan's speech
on October 25th, as well as the occasion
to hear Governor Claude Kirk of Florida
given an address during his visit to the
Quad-cities. Activities are designed to
enable both the club and its members to
play a meaningful role in the 1968 national elections.
O'Donnell. THIRD ROW: Steve Miller, Tom Vieth, Gerry Hughes,
Frank Delaney, Winston Hamilton, Tom Newmaster Bill Rose
Tim Motto and Jim West.
