Description
Vets and dates at the Victory Bell Dance.
Vets Club
The St. Ambrose Veterans' Association is primarily a
social organization. It is composed of men who have
fulfilled their military obligation and are now attending
St. Ambrose College.
Upon arriving at St. Ambrose, the Vets find themselves
somewhat older than the average underclassmen and can
seek the comradeship of men their own age in the
organization.
The Vets hold social functions such as dances, parties
and picnics in which the student body participates.
These functions nourish the club treasury and stimulate
school spirit.
Left to right: J. Griffin, Sgt. at Arms; D. Dinneen, President; M. McGee, V. President; R. Dervin, Secretary-Treasurer. Members of the Vets Club.
