The Reverend J. E. Suprenant acts as faculty advisor for this club, which was
organized at his direction. Their purpose is to study the government of the
country, state, county, and city, in order that the members may become better
citizens. Voting methods, and the proper way to vote are also subjects of discussion. Though the membership of the club is small at present, it will no doubt increase in the near future, for its purpose is most admirable, and it is
the duty of every young person to know something of the government, and not
simply hope for the best.
