Description
THE DOWNFALL OF FELIX
There was a tumult in the gym,
The mighty Shirk was on a tear ;
And the mighty one was craving
Just one grasp at Elmer's hair.
Elmer and his pal, Eugene,
Had braved the wrath of Mr. Shirk,
Then the Captain put on steam,
And straightway began to work.
Eugene was the first to perish,
So decided Captain G.,
And accents loud and swearish,
He began the misery (ee).
All records for endurance
Began to totter, then they fell,
As the mighty one surged onward,
With a terrifying yell.
But the sidesteps of our Eugene
Were too much for Felix G.;
And the victim sent a stinger
Straight into the Captain's knee.
When the light again returned
To the dreadnaught's sleepy mind,
He groped about for his victim,
But no victim could he find.
