So if we are to show that we are truly loyal and devoted to our college, let us
show it by our enthusiasm and interest in all its activities. When our schedule calls for
a game on the home grounds, we should endeavor by all possible means to be present
and "root" for the boys in Blue and White. Many a victory, which seemed hopelessly
lost, has been won in the last few minutes of play by the herculean efforts of the team,
when they felt a renewed strength, caused by the cheering and rooting of the student
body.
We hope to see this kind of college spirit continue to grow at St. Ambrose, since,
in a large part, the success of athletics depends upon it. L. J. MURPHY—'15.
