CALENDAR- Continued
15-This was a dry day, juicy like a brick. On complaint issued by P. H. Pete,
Kenny accuses M. Morrin with dishonesty, charging him with the failure to
return a two cent stamp borrowed two days before.
17-Vaudeville Club puts on its annual Shrove Tuesday entertainment; "Herr"
Healy and "Brer" Sybert as "Pluto and Khorsabab" in Germany and Africa at
war were simply great.
18-Arthur Hurley pays a visit to old S. A. C. He looks natural but claims he has
been sick. Retreat begins tonight.
19-It looks like a calamity had been here, everybody trying to keep silent. Dick
Lee entertains the SmoKer Club in the evening with a program of hymns.
20-Sign language used plentifully.
21-Retreat over; wrestling match in the "Gym". K. of C's attend big initiation
and banquet at the Hotel Davenport. ■
22-Washington's Birthday; program at 2:30.

23-Signs of spring, first robin seen. Fr. Lawler occupies President's seat at the
table and is given nine "Rahs" by the students.
24-A large crowd comes to hear the noted English author, Mr. Wilfrid Ward.
26-Several hundred had to be turned away on account of lack of seating capacity.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, about 11:30: "You fellows can finish that conversation in the morning, cut it out." "Liz" Welch was taken to the Hospital for an operation. Hard luck.
27-Murphy claims a raw oyster went down the wrong way, which made him look
sick. Poor boy.
28"Wets" and "drys" almost come to blows in debate in St. Thomas Lit.
Society. The meeting was adjourned to March 7th.
