Description

The Junior Baseball Team, during the past season, has won for itself an enviable record, in having defeated nearly every team played in this vicinity under the
age of seventeen, and in some instances teams even older. Father Adrian, the
Junior coach, is to be commended for the record of his charges. Out of twenty-
five games played, they lost but three. Among the trophies is one of the crack
Jackson Public School Champions, and another from the Davenport Chiropractic
College. The pole-pushing of Cullinan, Wagner, Hellweg, Tinker and Hogan, the
rapid fire execution of Kinnavey and McLaughlin, assisted by the clever cage
work of Captain Skelley, were factors of the big record.
