Description
REV. WM. L. HANNON
REV. WM. L. ADRIAN
The Athletic Board
Rev. Father Hannon, President of the Athletic Board, has been a prominent factor in the gradual development of all branches of athletics at the College during the last few years, and now that he has been placed at the head of the Board, we may hope to see athletic activities flourish at the College. Many very prominent athletes have signified their intention of entering the College this coming
fall. He intends to put in the field teams that will establish a record for the
College and place it on an athletic footing with the best minor colleges of this
section of the country.
Rev. Father Adrian, Vice President and Secretary of the Board, is Coach of
the Junior teams, and the record of the young athletes is evidence of the quality
of his work. He is doing a real practical work for the future of athletics, as these
same men will, in a few years, be winning a place on the Varsity teams. Father
Adrian has been very active and successful in the preparation of schedules. He
announces for the Baseball team one of the best schedules that they have had
thus far, and a good Football schedule is near completion. He stands for a high
standard of athletics, and no doubt will contribute much to its future advance.
